The full grown modern human is conscious f touching the highest pinnacle of fulfillment…when he is consumed in the service of an idea, in the conquest of the goal pursued. – Robert Briffault

The ideal situation for a man or woman to die is to have family members standing… with them as they cross over. But imagine, if you will, being on your death-bed… and standing around your bed are the ghosts of the ideas, the abilities, the talents, the gifts, the dreams… given to you by life, that you for whatever reason… you never pursued those dreams, you never did anything with those ideas, you never used those talents, you never used those gifts, you never took advantage of those opportunities… And there they are… standing around your bed, looking at you before you take your last dying breath, looking at you with angry eyes saying, “We came to you, and only you could have given us life and now we must die with you forever. – Howard Thurman

Building a Happy Place!

“Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of – throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace.

He intends to come and live in it Himself.” – C.S. Lewis

True Happiness

“Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.” Og Mandino

I am coming to realize that the search for being rich is not solely for myself. That is just a fringe benefit. I get wealth so that I can share my wealth, my happiness, my rich experiences.

A healthy attitude like this is how we attract creativity, ideas, the time and the energy to make worthy goals come to fruition. It is the fruit of the worthy pursuits!

How do I change? If I feel insignificant I will remember my goals.

“How do I change?
If I feel depressed I will sing.
If I feel sad I will laugh.
If I feel ill I will double my labor.
If I feel fear I will plunge ahead.
If I feel inferior I will wear new garments.
If I feel uncertain I will raise my voice.
If I feel poverty I will think of wealth to come.
If I feel incompetent I will think of past success.
If I feel insignificant I will remember my goals.
Today I will be the master of my emotions.”
