For about eight years, I have been a casual fan of the Rhonda Byrne film “The Secret” and the classic book “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Waddles. [A casual fan merely picks a thing up, admires it intellectually and puts it back down – doing nothing more to use the concepts with any measurable amount of conviction.] These masterpieces predictably resonated with my college education in Applied Physics and my spiritual journey and outlook on life. However, until now, I have not applied these concepts to get rich.
After a particularly challenges three years, the book “The Science of Getting Rich” fell into my hands serendipitously by way of the Bob Proctor’s digital seminar on the subject through Mindvalley Academy.
“WHATEVER may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich.”
Reading these words challenged me to watch the film and pick up the book again to begin the journey to a rich and abundant life – as an experimental scientist. In this blog, I move from admirer to researcher as I chronicle my experiments with the Science of Getting Rich (SGR) in what I call my SGRFieldbook. As a scientist, I will test the theory and process and share my results.
